Dual Shock 3 Now available in Japan

It might be old news, but ive only really just discovered it.

DUAL SHOCK Controllers are back on the Playstation, so now PS3 owners (like myself) can now jump for joy and enjoy their PS3 games to the fullest.

When PS3 was going to be released something happened between the company that make the dual shock system and sony, in the end it resulted in the PS3 console being released without any vibrating controllers, but a year (UK, 2 years for japan) has passed and now DUAL SHOCK 3 PLAYSTATION 3 controllers have arrived.

Play-asia (as shown in the picture) are selling these controllers for $50 (£30), which is £4 cheaper than it is for the standard PS3 controller (i still have one boxed), not only that you can now buy the Controller in "WHITE" and you can also buy a PS3 in white (available 2nd Febuary). The only problem is that play-asia will not ship these to European Union , Iceland ,Liechtenstein and Norway, however im guessing it won't be long till they arrive in USA and Europe, so if your planning on buying an extra controller id wait for awhile, as it might be worth waiting for DUAL SHOCK 3 as it would be around same price and it would definately be worth the wait.

Free Xbox Live Arcade Game Now Available!

Undertow is the FREE Xbox Live Arcade Game that microsoft are giving away for free until 28th January 2008.

The Reason behind this "free" game is because over the christmas peroid the Xbox live service wasn't work properly and alot of gamers could'nt, well game, so to apoligise microsoft are letting everyone download the game UNDERTOW.

The Game original came out earlier in 2007, and cost 800 microsoft points, at first i wasn't too interested (didn't even download the trial), but since its free i downloaded it and what from first glance seems like a cheap british made game (which i think it is) turns out to be alot of fun.

Im not too sure about the storyline behind the game (yep it has a story and some cut-scenes, pritty impressive for a downloadable arcade game), but the whole point of the game is to capture areas / nodes and defend them from the enemy. If you capture all the nodes you win the game, or alternatively you could try and capture (for example) 3 of the 4 nodes and let the opponents life score go down to 0, each second that passes 1 point is removed for each of the nodes you own, so if you have 3 out of 4 nodes, your opponent looses 3 life points.

I have been playing the game for the past hour and completed chapter 1 and got 20 archivements points, so its a pritty fun game, even better when its free! So download now, as its only free until the 28th january.

Devil May Cry 4 Demo Available Now On Xbox Live Marketplace!

Probably the news most 360 Users have been waiting for, and that is that there is now aDevil May Cry 4 Demo available to download from the Xbox 360's Xbox live Marketplace.

New Content such as Demos, Videos and arcade games are usually uploaded on a wednesday mourning (around 10an GMT), however i did not see this available for download yesterday, but when i was browsing around a noticed a small advertisement for DMC4, i clicked on it and it led me to a download for the demo.

If The Devil May Cry 4 (DMC4) Demo is available on Xbox Live's Marketplace now, then the PS3 Version should be on this friday, so far im downloading the demo from the UK Xbox 360 Servers, so i presume that the demo will be available on the USA 360 Servers aswell.

As for the PS3 Servers i haven't checked yet, but im betting the demo will be able for PS3 users tomorrow (Friday 25th January).

The Download (on the 360) is 613mb (average size for a demo on a console) and i am downloading it right now, hopefully it will be a decent level (and won't give too much of the storyline away). Anyway i suggest you DMC Fans get onto your 360's right away!

Devil May Cry 4 Limited Edition Sets.....

You already know that CAPCOM'S latest Devil May Cry (DMC) game is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 early next month, you may also know that they are releasing Standard and Limited Edition sets. However did you know that the limited Edition set we are reciving in europe, differs from the one that they are getting in the USA?

Devil May Cry 4 is released in the USA on 5th Febuary 2008 (8th Febuary for the UK). While The're special collectors edition set costs $80 (£40) it contains exactly the same as our limited edition set, however it also includes a bonus DVD Disc contain a documentary on how Devil May Cry 4 was made, as well as other exclusives such as Soundtracks from the game, trailers and even wallpapers and screen-savers for your PC. Well Not only that, you will also get the COMPLETE Volume 1 of the Devil May Cry Anime included as a bonus, and not only that ive also found out that there is a coupon inside the case that lets you send off for the official Devil May Cry Volume 1 DVD Case and cover and you will also recieve a $5 (£2.50) coupon to get money knocked off Volume 2 when its released later in the year. Not Bad if you ask me, espically since its only £10 more than what i paid for the UK Version.

HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray continues....Warner Goes Exclusive with Blu-Ray!

Ever since HD-DVD was released Warner Bros. was the main film company to support them, bringing films such as Harry Potter - The Goblet of Fire & Swordfish into HD. When Blu-ray was released i remember hardly seeing any Warner Bros. Movies on Blu-ray format. Well now thats about to change.
In the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Warner Bros. announced that it will be going solo and supporting Blu-ray and all current HD-DVD releases will be discounted by may 2008, this is because (based on record sales in USA) they sold more blu-ray format discs than HD-DVDs.

Now HD-DVD only have 2 major Exclusive companies "Paramount" and "Universal"
