After 4 long years, the OLD N-Gage Arena servers are finally going to be closed, within the last few months the un-popular online games were steadily removed, but as next-gen gaming is soon to be launched the more popular servers, such as Worms World Party and Tony Hawks Pro Skater are going to be shut down.
Team Arena (N-Gage Mods) released this state on the forums the other day:
OLD ARENA GAME SERVERS ARE SHUTTING DOWN ON DECEMBER 5TH:
In order to prepare the new and improved backend servers and databases for the Next Generation launch, sadly the old Arena game servers will be shutting down on Dec. 5th @10am PST. After this date, the Arena features of the old N-Gage games will no longer be available. We hope you are excited for the launch of the next generation, and we look forward to your help in making the next generation N-Gage Arena even better than the original.
As stated in the above text, the N-Gage Arena Servers for the older games will be switched off on December 5th (Wednesday) at 10am PST (about 6pm UK time).
So if you want to take revenge on someone, now is the time to do it! R.IP. Old Game Servers.

New Games For Windows Games in Store NOW!

If you don't know "Games For Windows" is Microsoft New Branding style for PC Games.
Bioshock, Halo 2, Shadowrun and Lost Planet were the first games to use the brand "Games For Windows".
Bioshock, Halo 2, Shadowrun and Lost Planet were the first games to use the brand "Games For Windows".
Games For Windows Games also carry Archievements and a "small" xbox live dashboard interface, you can even login into your Xbox Live Gamertag and earn combine your PC Gamerpoints with your 360 Gamerpoints.
Lost Planet And Bioshock didn't ship with Archievements, however more games are shipping with archievements and now new titles such as GEARS OF WAR and VIVA PINATA, will work on Windows XP (aswell as Vista) and come with archievements, which are now unlockable on Windows XP machines.
Gears of War was the 1st game to run on Windows XP and have archievements (which until now archievements were only unlocked on VISTA), and now the second game "VIVA PINATA" hits stores on 16th november.
Nothing has been confirmed wether or not all PC titles come with archievements, but so far there is only four titles that have archievements for the PC, 2 which work on Both XP and VISTA and 2 that only work on VISTA.
You can run Shadowrun and Halo 2 on XP using a certain patch found on the internet, however you aren't able to login to live and get archievements - well not yet anyway.

Crysis Demo Officially Out!

The Crysis Demo officially Came out last week on 26th Octoboer, however it was the 27th Octobor when most of us saw it (since it was released on USA Time-Scale, which is 8 hours behind the UK).
The Demo itself its 1.27GB in size, and took 5hrs to download on a 2mb Broadband connection, so if your on 1mb connection it would take you 10hrs and 15hrs to download on 512kb (estimated). The Demo i downloaded was downloaded from the official crysis website, however you can probably download it from other sources such as P2P Services or fileshare services, which may give you a faster download speed.
The Demo runs fine on MEDIUM Settings (except for abit of lag on heavy gun battles) and even better on LOW, using my PC (which specs are):
ATI Raedon X1950 Pro (512mb Graphics)
2GB Ram
2.0Ghz AMD Processor
240GB HDD
Windows XP SP2
If you have same specs (or higher) then crysis will run fine. If you wish to dowload the demo (and be in with a long wait) head over to http://www.crysisdemo.com now!

Ive Got GUITAR HERO 3 for Xbox 360

3 WEEKS before the UK Release of Guitar Hero 3 and ive got it in my hands now - No it isn't the UK Version its the (i think) Austrailian version, which is REGION FREE (Meaning it will work on ANY Xbox 360 Console around the world) and it cost me LESS than the Retail price, as i only paid £31 for it
Ive been playing it for bowt 30 mins and the song list is pritty dull (well for the 1st 2 sets) - not many songs i recignise (not like GH2 were i knew most of them), but some of them are catchy tunes! However the last 3 sets have some sweet tracks so im looking forward to that!
Haven't tried online play yet, as i could'nt connect to any matchs (even though i saw some). And yes the GH2 Controller works with GH3, so if you have GH2 (with explorer controller) then just get the individual Guitar Hero 3 Game (costs about £30 - £40 depending on where u get it from).
Anyway its a Good game, good price and good fun.
