E3 2007 - Downloadable Content Round Up....

If you haven't checked online on your PS3's / Xbox 360's in the past two weeks you may have missed some "SERIOUS" gaming releated downloads.

For instance the Xbox Live Marketplace has a tone of new trailers and 5 new demos for download, why you ask? - since it was E3.
Apart from the usual HYPED stuff including Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4 and Blacksite, A Few surprising titles have been announced including "Crash Of The Titans" (Brand New Crash bandicoot Game), "Naruto: Rise Of The Ninja" (the 1st Next Gen naruto game to follow the storyline of the TV & Manga Series) and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (Not another one).

When i first saw Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, i thought it was just the same game, just another seqeual, however when i downloaded the trailer i relised it was KOEI'S Dynasty Warriors mixed in with SUNRISE'S Gundam TV Series, which seems like a rather interesting idea. However i did manage to get a play test because a Playable Demo of "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam" is available for download on the American Playstation Network Server. (449MB) and after playing the game it has to be a definate buy for Dynasty Warriors and Anime fans alike.

other downloads you might like on the PS3 is a new Metal Gear Solid 4 Trailer in FULL 1080P HD and in English!, as well as HD Trailers for Killzone 2, Transformers: Movie and Simpsons Moive. But I presume the most downloaded demo over on the 360 Servers would have to be a playable demo of BLUE DRAGON. One of the most anticpated RPG's and its soon to be released into the UK.

If you have missed E3 you better get you downloads qeued up, as there is GB's worth of freebies to download.

Time Crisis 4 Boxart Released!

Well Here it is the OFFICIAL USA Boxart for Time Crisis 4 on the PS3.

I believe this is just the boxart for the game-case and not the boxart for the entire package, but at least we know that the game will be released this year.

The price still remains $90 on Gamestop, EB Games & Amazon.com however play-asia are selling it for $109.

No news on a japanese / UK release date has been announced so it looks like i'll be importing this game (as $90 is only £45 - which is pritty decent for a PS3 Game).

But anyway this is the boxart for the game and the shops have also updated their information on the game (i.e. game mode etc) and amazon has got a few pictures of "gameplay" uploaded. More information when i find it, but release is still scheduled for November 2007.

Guncon 3

Well here it is, the "odd-looking" Guncon 3 for the Playstation 3 (which will be supplied with Time Crisis 4).
I was browsing around the internet and stumbled onto a japanese site with lots 3 pictures of the Guncon 3 and a few pictures of the newly improved time crisis 4 game, so i thought id post the link up.

The Guncon 3 to the left is the "Japanese" Version of the gun, as there will be 2 or 3 different colours depending on where you live. The japanese will recieve a black/blue styled gun, where as the USA will recieve an Orange looking gun. No idea on what the UK Gun will look like (hopefully blue or black), but rumours suggest that it will be the Orange gun.
Like it or lump it, but this IS the final desgin. The main idea for "half of a PS3" controller is for the new "Mission Mode" on Time Crisis 4 and to let FPS developers use this control system to make more interesting FPS Shooters. The idea in general is abit like the Wii, where you would move your wii-mote to move your weapon and click the B button to fire, however here you would use the Analog stick on the Controller side to move the camera, The analog stick on the back of the gun will be used to move your character and the trigger will fire the gun. Of course to make it even harder you would have to point the gun at your target.

For more pictures of the Guncon 3 and Time Crisis 4 click here. Time Crisis 4 is set to be released in USA (and possibly Japan) in November 2007, No UK Date has been announced yet.
