Guitar Hero 2 Problems on Xbox 360

Guitar Hero 2 is one of the latest (and greatest) Xbox 360 games out at the moment - well thats if you can get your plucking hands on it.

The Game has been so popularthat most retailers are sold out and won't be getting any more stock of the game (and guitar) for a few more weeks.

One Of the reasons for this "shortage" is down to its popualirty. The PS2 Version was awesome, however some xbox owners would'nt want to pay out over £150 just for one PS2 Game. So all the xbox owners (now) can finally buy Guitar Hero 2 on there white HD Box.

However the major 2nd reason why its hard to get hold of the game is due to the fact that so 40% of the Explorer Guitars are faulty, yep faulty.

The most common fault is with the whammy bar (little rod sticking out) - this is used to create your own style of music and make it sound how you want and theoreticaly you should just move it sligthly to make the music sound different, however people have had faults where they move it numerous times and it only recignises once on the screen.

Another Fault is the Star Power, you should just shake the guitar lightly to activate it, but some guitars need to be shaken furiously to activate the star power. So at the start there was enough stock, but due to these faults the stock has been halfed.

However if you got yourself a working guitar ROCK ON!, if not just take it back and try and get another one.

Guitar Hero 2 on Xbox 360 Retails for around £69.99 (£64.99 on Net and £59.99 at Currys).

PS3 1.70 Firmware Out Now!

The very first PLAYSTATION 3's were Firmware Version 1.50 and as soon as they were hooked up to the Internet it told you to install 1.60 (to give you access to the playstation Network).

Well after a month of the console being out, Sony has released firmware Version 1.70, nothing major is updated (not even dodgey PS2 Playback on the PS3 Console). However the major updates are:

* Being Able to download PS1 Games through the Playstation Network Store (as of now, there is NO PS1 Games in the PS3 Store).

* Playing PS1 Games (downloaded from the Playstation Network Store) on your PS3 (as well as transferring them to your PSP).

There was another updated listed (as long as the some new features have been added), but i forgot what it was. Either way the PS3 has now been updated - but im still waiting for HOME to be released.

Virtua Tennis 3 - Character Glitch

To Me it looks like SEGA should start hiring some new Beta Testers (or maybe run beta tests longer on games). We all know that Sonic The Hedgehog on 360 and PS3 was a flop, mainly down to the large amount of Loading times (surely any reasonable gamer would know that less loading times = better gameplay experience) as well as other glitches ike getting stuck or falling off a rail.

Well SEGA have done it again in Virtua Tennis 3, i started a Tournament (Vancouver, Week 2, August, Year 2) and everything loaded up fine, then the characters flickered (like a TV flickers, but only the characters flickered off) - so now i was left with a Tennis Ball and a Racket floating in mid air - kind of cool, but tricky.

Heres a video to proove it:
