Time Crisis on a PSP

Yep you read the title correctly, and yes i have proof (video below) of me playing Time Crisis on a PSP.

After alot of hassling (and hoping not to brick my PSP), i decided to upgrade my PSP firmware from 1.50 to 3.10 OE-A (which is the latest CUSTOM firmware). What i made by Custom firmware is that 3.10 is Sony's latest firmware, which lets you play the latest releases, browse the internet and play PS1 Games downloaded from the playstation store (Using a PS3).

However the CUSTOM version lets you play 1.50 Homebrew (by creating a GAME150) folder on your PSP memory stick, it also lets you Play PS1 Games that you have converted to EBOOT files (PSP Format files) yourself - so you don't have to download them again from the playstation store.

So you get all the best bits (and extras) with this new custom firmware, for a guide on how to install it click here.

Anyway after all that i decided to convert my favourite Arcade (and PS1 title) to the PSP, which in this case was TIME CRISIS. All i did was i downloaded & installed a program called DrPOP, then after doing that i inserted my TIME CRISIS CD into my PC's Disc Drive, then i dragged my CD Drive into the DrPop program itself. After pressing GO! it would convert and save the EBOOT file onto my hard drive, then i just had to copy it onto my PSP's memory stick.

For A Better Guide on how to convert PS1 Games to PSP Eboot files, click here.

Now after 35 minutes of hassle i can now play Time Crisis on my PSP, another thing to note is that it may take awhile for the game to load up at the start (with the PS1 Logo etc), however the in-game loading times are rather smooth and fast. Anyway Below is a small video of me playing Time Crisis on the PSP (and yes i completed a whole stage without using a Credit!).

Xbox 360 Wireless Reciever For Windows

Its always pritty cool when you manage to get a game, console (or in this case an accessory) before the release day.

In the past ive managed to get a PSP and DS, as well as Starfox Command, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller and Diddy Kong Racing before the UK Release date (the DS Games i imported, but the consoles are UK!). Anyway in this case i managed to get hold of the latest Xbox 360 Accessory.

Even though it has "Xbox 360" plastered all over and in the Xbox 360 packaging, it isn't for the Xbox 360 at all, nope its for the PC.

What this device lets you do is use your Xbox 360's Wireless Controller, Headset, Steering Wheell (and possibly Media Centre Remote) on your PC.

All you have to do is install it (software provided on a CD), insert the Device into a spare USB slot on your PC and then link up your Controller, Headset or Wheel to it, and its done the same way as you would do on a normal Xbox 360 console.

Microsoft could have easily released this in their new "Vista" style packaging and charge alot more (as the retail price is only £14.99, cheaper on net at around £11.99), so if your a PC Gamer (or even buy the odd PC Game) then this little gadget is a sweet thing to buy.

Wii Laptop

The People over at engadget (i believe) spent a few weeks turning they home console "Nintendo Wii" into something a little more portable, after a month or so they finally built the Wii Laptop.

its the same size Nintendo Wii, but with a Small LCD Screen (and built in Sensor bar above the screen) - it looks pritty good and if Nintendo Would release an adaptor like this it would be awesome! (as most us know the Wii console is really small).

Anyway check out the video below:
