Emo185's Time Crisis Adventure

Last Friday (18th August 2006) i went away to skegness for a weekend holiday / break and while i was there i decided to play ALL Four Time Crisis Arcade Machines (i also played Crisis Zone, but decided not to recorded myself on it).

Well i recorded myself playing all the games (as well as completing all four and becoming No.1 on them all) and once i came back i edited them all together and made a pritty slick video so here it is.

Its 10 Minutes long, but if your a Time Crisis, or even an arcade fan then you will enjoy it.

Saints Row, GTA Beater?

Saints Row might not be released in the UK till Next Month (Release Date is 1st September 2006, but can change). However there is already a LARGE playable demo of it on Xbox Live.

The Demo, in size is 905MB, just short off 1GB, however it is worth it - as it covers most, if not all of the basic missions to get you started and comfortable with the control system.

As many people will agree "Saints Row" is a GTA (Grand Theft Auto) Rip-off or a copycat. In some ways it is, but the graphics are better, the storyline is better and your character is ALOT more customisable from the start.

For example as soon as the game starts you have to edit your character (Highly), if you have ever played Tony hawks American Wasteland, and used the custom skate option, you will know what i mean, as eyes, hair, face, chest, build and height are fully changeable.

Once you have selected what you want to look like you will be thrown into a pritty cool cut scene , everything looks ordinary then BOOM! its a Gang fight between 3 gangs and your in the middle of it. After being saved from a small gang its time to hit the streets and join the saints.

The game overall is highly detailed and seems alot more realistic, as instead of loading pages appearing when entering buildings you just press Y to open the door and walk in, simple.

If your a GTA or Driver fan, then you are going to LOVE Saints Row, and from the look of things september is going to be an awesome month for games on the xbox 360, with titles including LEGO Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy and Dead Rising being released.

You can download the demo of "Saints Row" on Xbox Live Marketplace now! and if you haven't got a fast internet connection then here is a short "in-game" clip of it.

Pac-man: Now on XBOX LIVE Arcade

At long last Namco's yellow little mascot finally reaches the Xbox Live Arcade (As part of Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays).

This new addition to the Xbox Live Arcade family costs as little as 400 Microsoft Points ( which is around £3.50 / €5.18 /$6.68), which isn't too bad.

The game itself contains "Single Player", "2-Player" and "Xbox Live Rankings" - no online competition here, but it is a great classic and one of my favourite namco games (apart from the Time Crisis Series).

The image to the right, is what the main gaming screen looks like, as you can see not super HD Graphics here - but its all about ejoyment and not graphics.

Archievements on this game can be abit of a bitch to do, and when you do archieve them they are not worth much, for example grabbing the Cherry on the first level will give you 5 Gamer points, where as eating all the ghosts with one "super dot" will give you 15 gamer points. The Archievements aren't the easiest ones to pick up (unlike galaga), however they can easily be done with alot of gaming.

Well if your interested in owning Pacman on your xbox 360, then you can do so now as it is out! So go and chop away and stay away from the ghosts.

Pokemon : Back in Black, Or Maybe Not?

I was recently browsing around on the internet (i.e. Amazon, Ebay, Gameplay, play etc etc) seeing what new DS and GBA Games were out (as well as Looking for Megaman Battle Network 5).

Anyway after awhile i stumbled on this pokemon game called "Pokemon Chaos Black". The Story behind it, is that the game is based after the Emarld Version, and is the last pokemon game for the GBA.

However if you haven't noticed by now that this pokemon game is indeed a FAKE. The Reason why i say this is because the "chaos" figure on the front cover is no other than "Chaos" from the Sonic Adventure Game (or on the Sonic X TV Series - Image shown below).

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Not much is known about this "fake" game, apart from it is real (real as in a solid item you can hold - image shown below) and it is just pokemon emarld with a few things changed, such as pokemon or peoples names, just to make the game a little different, and not only that the save feature does not work. So all in all, it is impossible to complete unless you leave it switched on. Just shows that bootleggers will go a LONG way to earn a quick buck, but sometimes not everything will work.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

However i can ramble on about this game all day but the simple fact is its FAKE. Which means you can not buy it in UK , USA or JAPAN Retailers as it isn't an official licensed item by Nintendo (even though it might have it labelled on the box). So if you see this "Pokemon Black" then DO NOT BUY IT (unless your curious abouts its defects).

The only place you can buy it, is from Ebay sellers, such as this guy in Austrailia. A Fair amount of people are bidding on it, but how many of them know it aint a REAL Game.

Id thought id post this up incase any readers out there are still interested in the latest Pokemon games - as not many people know the truth about the chaos behind pokemon games.

Street Fighter 2 - OUT NOW on Xbox Live Arcade

If you haven't been on "Xbox Live" today (or spoken to any other 360 owners) then you might have not noticed that "Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting" has been released.

The Game itself costs 800 Microsoft Points (Which is around £8.35 / €12.25 / $15.67), which for a "highly wanted" game like this is a pritty reasonable price - espically since Bankshot Billards costs 1,200 Microsoft Points (£11 / €16 /$20) and no-one has ever heard of it.

The game itself Features 2 MAIN modes "Arcade", "Xbox Live" - Arcade Mode is where you (the player) will follow the story of your choosen character and battling it out till the end. "Xbox Live" is where you will battle with other opponents from around the world (and most likely cry at the controller when some 11yr old japanese kid kicks your ass (nope it hasn't happened to me yet, but i bet it will).

Overall if you haven't bought / download an xbox live arcade game, then THIS is the game to get.

Time Crisis 4 Hits UK Arcades

Finally After 3 months of waiting (from E3) and a little sooner than "anyone" could have expected (as the original release date for TC4 in arcades was September) Time Crisis 4 is here and should be in an arcade near you.

I know that Mablethrope, Cleethorpes, Skeggness and Sheffield (Medowhall) have got Time Crisis 4 (as people have showed me) and not only that i completed the Time Crisis 4 in medowhall with 7 Credits (first time playing the 4th one as-well).

Its a pritty decent game and slightly longer than TC3 - and like most previwers have said - it does contain a better and more "in-depth" storyline than the rest.

Wild Dog aslo makes a come back (in the final 2 Areas) and made me laugh when i beat him (i won't spoil it for you - you'll just have to wait and see). But if you go into any arcade and see the name "EMO" on a machine, then thats me.

Heres some "more footage" of time crisis 4 i found on youtube.
