PSP Games go Platinum

Just like PS1 and PS2 - PSP Games will now offer a "Platinum" range, so the "best selling games" will become platinum games and yep they will cost £19.99 each.

So far i have only seen a few selection of games in the platinumn collection and these include:

* Medievil: Resurrection
* Pursuit Force
* Burnout: Legends
* Harry Potter: Goblet Of Fire

I Guess this is a new feature of SONY to drag more gamers to the "PSP" side of gaming, will it work though?

I would have announced it on my blog sooner, but i thought it was best to wait till it was posted up on the N-Gage Arena Website .

Time Crisis 2 - Old School Style

One Afternoon i got bored, so i decided to play "Time Crisis 2" on a "14 inch Portable CRT TV" - Which to me is OLD SCHOOL Style :D, since i now have a 27" Inch LCD in my bedroom - anyway back to the point - i completed the game within 15 minutes (as usual) and got a decent score - i only lost ONE Life aswell.

Anyway you can check out the footage below:

Time Crisis 2 - Stage 1

Time Crisis 2 - Stage 2

Time Crisis 2 - Stage 3

Not only that on the same day i also recorded myself playing Time Crisis 3 on an LCD TV and YES! i was using a lightgun on LCD TV. If you haven't heard there is a new LCD Gun available - which you can find more info here.

Footage of me playing Time Crisis 3 (New Style) is shown below!

Another N-Gage Music Video.

An N-Gage Arena member named "Guruma" asked me to make an "N-Gage Music Video" using footage from the latest and "BEST" N-Gage games, so i said yea fine, however the catch was i must use a song from an N-Gage game.

Well i managed it and it turned out pritty sweet. So Long Live The N-Gage!

N-Gage Games Now Downloadable From Nokia Software Website

One Of the "biggest" downfalls with the Nokia N-Gage is that it was hard to find a "constant" supply of games for the console, For example DS,PSP and GBA Games can be found easily in any electrionic's store, however N-Gage games are hard to come by.

Well now NOKIA has solved this problem by offering a "Download" Service, its abit like JAVA and Symbian games from places like Napster, except you pay €30 (or €20 on some games) and download them straight onto your PC. Then using a Multi-Media Card Reader you would transfer them onto your MMC.

This saves the hassle of leaving you comfy house to buy the games or going on a drastic search to find a store that has them in stock, as lets face it, how many times have you asked the question "Do You Have Any N-Gage Games in Stock?" and got a reply "Eh? What?".

This new service was discussed last year in E3 2005 and looks like its about to start, however so far there is only a handful of games available to download, these include "Glimmerati, Mile High Pinball, One, Pathway To Glory, Ashen and a few other titles - Basically the BEST games from the N-Gage.

You can see the full list of games here.

My Xbox360 is talking about me

Yep its true, my "next-gen" home entertainment console is talking about me behind my back.

If you think that your profile on the xbox 360 console / xbox website is bad enough (as it lets people know what you are doing) then you will definately hate this website.

360voice is a website that lets you create a blog for your gamertage, and everyday it will post information about what you have been doing (and what games you have been playing). Its pritty cool idea, but you have to register your gamertag first.

The only bad part is that if you are not online with your Xbox 360 (which you should be as thats HALF of the entertainment section gone) then you won't be able to register to the site, as it will not recignise your userame. Also it does take around 2 days for anything to post up onto the blog.

It is a really cool feature, because now alot of your friends can see what you have been doing on your xbox 360 without having to own and xbox 360 themselves.

You can check out my "xbox 360 blog" here.

Time Crisis 4 - Coming Soon to an Arcade near you

If you haven't heard already Namco are bringing the 4th (yes 4th) Time Crisis to the arcades, you may start to think, what can they add to another Shoot Em Up. Well lets recap, in the first Time Crisis game we had "Duck and Shoot", in the 2nd Time Crisis game we had "2 Player" and "Machine Gun", in the 3rd game we had a choice of 4 Weapons and a longer gameplay span.

The 4th Game combines all 3 previous features, but now includes a "Multi-Screen Battle" for example at certain parts of the game you will have to shoot "outside" of the screen to the left or to the right (or maybe either) to shoot the rest of the bad guys. Its a pritty cool feature and will take awhile to get used to. Also they have added a "Prologue" before each stage - this gives you more background information on whats happening in the game - also the game is ALOT longer than Time Crisis 3 - so its going to be a tough game to beat.

Time Crisis 4 is expected to be released later on this month in Japanese Arcades, and will be available worldwide (in arcades) later on in the year, But not only that a Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 port has been rumoured to be released around march 2007.

Check out some of this footage of Time Crisis 4 from E3:
